Jeffrey Jackel, DMD, MD

Dr. Jackel grew up in New York City and later New Jersey. After graduating from Rutgers University, he received a D. M.D. degree from the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He also graduated from Hahnemann Medical College with an M.D. degree. He served residencies at Framingham Union, Boston University, and St. Elizabeth's Hospitals; his post-graduate education was completed at Massachusetts General Hospital and the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Dr. Jackel and Dr. McMurray started Blue Hill Pain Care in 2014 before joining The Quincy Spine Center in September 2024. He is board-certified in Anesthesiology and Dental Anesthesiology, and was previously board-certified in Pain Medicine.
He served as the Chief of Anesthesiology at Milton Hospital and has been practicing Pain Medicine since 1985. In 2002, he became the director of pain medicine at Carney Hospital, where he practiced in the only dedicated, comprehensive Department of Pain Medicine in Massachusetts.
